1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your relationship with Coinpetal ("we", "us", or "our"), a financial education provider registered in Malaysia and operating from 14 Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens, 88000 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. They apply to all visitors to our website at https://coinpeta.biz and to all individuals who enrol in or enquire about our educational programs.
By submitting an enquiry form, registering for a program, or continuing to use this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using this website or enrolling in our programs.
2. Our Services

- Foundations of Financial Thinking — Five weekly sessions of 80 minutes each exploring fundamental financial concepts. Priced at RM 500.
- Shariah-Compliant Finance Overview — Six sessions across three weeks introducing Islamic finance principles. Priced at RM 1,100.

Program details, schedules, and pricing are subject to change. Any updates will be communicated to registered participants with reasonable notice before their program commences.
3. Enrolment and Eligibility
Our programs are open to individuals aged 18 and above who are resident in Malaysia. Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a written payment arrangement agreed in advance with Coinpetal.
We reserve the right to decline enrolment where a program is fully subscribed, or where we have reason to believe that participation would not align with the program's objectives or community standards. In such cases, any amount paid will be refunded in full.
Completion of a program does not confer any formal qualification, licence, or professional certification. Our programs are educational in nature and are intended to build knowledge and confidence, not to certify participants for any regulated activity.
4. Fees and Payment
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable service tax unless otherwise stated. Payment is due in full upon confirmation of enrolment unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed.
- Accepted payment methods will be communicated to you at the time of enrolment confirmation
- Receipts will be issued upon receipt of payment
- Fees do not cover personal materials, stationery, or travel to venue unless explicitly stated in the program description
If a program is cancelled by Coinpetal prior to commencement, all fees paid will be returned within 14 working days.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
| Notice Given | Refund |
|---|---|
| 10 or more calendar days before first session | Full refund |
| 5–9 calendar days before first session | 50% refund |
| Fewer than 5 days before first session | No refund |
| After first session has commenced | No refund |
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days.
In exceptional circumstances (serious illness, bereavement, or other significant hardship), we may consider deferral to a future cohort as an alternative to a refund. Please speak with us — we will do our best to accommodate you.
6. Program Delivery
Programs are delivered primarily in-person at our premises in Kota Kinabalu or at announced venues. Specific session schedules will be provided upon enrolment confirmation.
- We reserve the right to substitute a session facilitator or guest speaker where necessary, maintaining the same standard of delivery
- Where a session must be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be informed with as much advance notice as possible and offered an alternative date
- Program materials, reading lists, and templates are provided for personal educational use only
Attendance is the participant's responsibility. We do not guarantee re-delivery of missed sessions but will provide relevant materials where feasible.
7. Participant Conduct
We aim to maintain a respectful and supportive learning environment for all participants. By enrolling, you agree to:
- Treat fellow participants, facilitators, and staff with courtesy and respect
- Refrain from disrupting sessions or engaging in conduct that diminishes the learning experience of others
- Use program materials for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only
- Not record, photograph, or share session content without prior written consent from Coinpetal
Coinpetal reserves the right to remove any participant from a program if their conduct is deemed incompatible with these expectations. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website and within our programs — including curriculum materials, templates, scenario cards, reference guides, and written or visual content — is the property of Coinpetal and is protected by applicable Malaysian intellectual property law.
Participants receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use program materials for their own private learning. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, or create derivative works from any Coinpetal materials without prior written consent.
This website and its content may not be scraped, crawled, reproduced, or reused for commercial purposes without our explicit written permission.

Our total liability in relation to any claim arising from the delivery of a program shall not exceed the fees paid by you for that specific program.
Nothing in these terms limits Coinpetal's liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by Malaysian law.
